Our opinion on Almo Nature
In the end, what can be learned from the value of the products of the Almo Nature brand? We appreciate the diverse range of products and the different works in favor of animals through charitable actions, in particular. Only, when it comes to the value of the food, we find that it is below the average of what can be called ideal food for our pets.
The weakness of Almo Nature foods lies in the low meat content, which therefore means insufficient protein intake (10-30% max). However, our little felines being exclusive carnivores, their nutritional needs require a sufficient level of quality animal proteins (40% in the strict minimum) without neglecting the other essential compounds, to support their growth, effectively maintain their health and ensure their longevity.
Improving the meat content in its products would be a good asset, because at the moment they are very far from meeting the criteria for the best cat food.
